The weather has not really prepared us for it this year, but the winter snow is undoubtably on it's way. What can you do to be prepared? Here are a few suggestions.
Clear the gutters of leaves and the sides of the house.(The additional burden of the snow may be to much for some older gutters.)
Use the cleared leaves to cover your bushes and the base of small trees.(This sheilds the plants from layers of snow, and the decomposition distributes warmth to the base and roots.)
Weather Proof older homes from the basement up.
Make sure you have a snow plowing service in mind in case of emergency.
Keep Rock salt for your walking paths and driveway.
If you need any assistance with Winterizing your Home or Yard please call and we will send someone to help you right away. Remember an ounce of preparation is worth it's weight in gold.

The Fusco Quarterly Meeting was held on Jan. 2nd. Holley made some great spaggetti, and we had fun sitting around discussing some goals and ideas for the New Year.
